Please be advised that we will be hosting a discussion with Stakeholders on December 15th at 1:30 Eastern to review a proposed method whereby MIRECS will issue Incentive credits based on imports and how MIRECS will retire a proportional amount of RECs for exports in order to enable exports to other compatible registries.

Electric Power Provider Compliance Process Training

Location: Commission offices in Lansing, Michigan
In order to provide the maximum benefit to the providers who will be using the compliance process, it is suggested that each provider representative bring a wi-fi enabled laptop computer to the training session to access their own account. This will allow MIRECS Administrator to provide more targeted assistance to each participant.

MIRECS Training and Stakeholder Group Meeting

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 has been set aside to introduce users to MIRECS and hold a meeting with interested stakeholders to share information and ideas on issues that are still undergoing final formulation. The training will take place both at the Michigan Public Service Commission office and via a web conference.
Issues: (1) Update on Import/Export; (2) Behind the Meter Production; (2) Aggregation of Small Generation; (3) Identify other issues that may need to be addressed. (4) Set time for sub-group meeting on Non-Profit Wholesale Power Providers, if necessary; (5) Establish schedule for future meetings.
